Who is it designed for
This insurance is designed for small enterprises and individuals (sum insured up to BGN 300.000).
Subject of the insurance
Movable and immovable property, located on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The property could be one’s own, hired or accepted for repair works, processing etc. by individuals or legal entities.
Insurance cover
This insurance covers the following perils:
CLAUSE “A” – BASIC COVER
Fire, thunder /lightning/, explosion, implosion, crush and/or fall down of piloted air-craft, its parts and/or cargo.
CLAUSE “B” – ADDITIONAL COVER
(1) Storm; (2) Hail, torrential rain, flood; (3) Natural snow and/or ice heaping; (4) Frost damage, freezing; (5) Landslide or collapse of land strata; (6) Damage from the action of sub-soil waters and/or from the action of sea waves; (7) Failure of water-main, sewerage and steam-main installations and the devices connected to them; the property insurance of individuals shall cover also the damages, caused as a result of not turning off the faucets and fountains; (8) Stroke by a vehicle; (9) Earthquake; (10) Arson; (11) Necessary expenses (expenses for cleaning up and limitation of the damages occurred as a result of event, covered by the this insurance); (12) Vandalism; (13) General Third Party Liability.
Sum insured
The sum insured is defined in Bulgarian Leva or other currency on the basis of the actual or recovery property’s value or according to the accounting data (balance sheet value). The actual value of flats/houses of individuals is defined on the basis of recommendable minimum sums per floorage unit or according to an expert’s estimation.
Insurance premium
The insurance premium is defined according to the rates of HDI Insurance Company depending on the insurance cover and the sum insured.
Validity of the insurance cover
The insurance cover is valid only for the address, written in the policy.
Conclusion of the insurance
The insurance could be concluded also in favor of a creditor bank.
Insurance term
The standard term of the insurance is 1 year.
