Livestock, Fowl, Fish and Bee Hives

Livestock, fowls, fish and bee hives as follows: cattle, buffalos, sheep, goats – over 3 months of age; breeding swine – over 6 months of age; fowls bred under intensive conditions; bee hives; race, luxury, decorative and competition animals and birds for the time of their transportation and participation in exhibitions and competitions; fish bred under intensive conditions. On Special Conditions could be insured also sport and pedigree horses, dogs, bird bred for liver, exotic animals.
Insurance cover
The insurance covers: death or slaughtering by necessity as a result of fire, natural calamities, accidents, infectious deceases, which are specific for each species, not infectious and parasite deceases.
Sum insured
The sum insured shall be agreed between the Insurant and the Insurer and shall be grounded on the current market conditions.
Insurance premium
The insurance premium shall be calculated according to the rates of the Insurer for the risks selected. The insurance premium could be paid off in a single lump sum or in two or three installments.
Conclusion of the insurance
This insurance shall be concluded for healthy animals of insurance age and weight by an insurance policy on the grounds of a proposal-declaration after a veterinary examination and appraisal made by the Insurer and a veterinary professional.
Liability of the Insurer
The insurance shall be concluded for one year term and shall come into force after the payment of the premium or the first instalment. The insurance could be concluded for a shorter period, but not shorter than one month. The insurance shall come into force from 00.00 h on the date, following the day when the whole insurance premium or the first instalment has been paid for damages, resulting from fire, natural calamities, and accidents. Damages from diseases are covered after a 15-days quarantine period.
Insurance indemnity
Insurance indemnities for damages on livestock, fowls, fish and bee hives shall be paid within 15 days after collecting of all the required documents according to the General Insurance Conditions.
