Fire Arms Liability
Who is it designed for
This insurance is compulsory for employees of legal entities and single traders, who perform safeguarding activities. For all the other persons this insurance is a voluntary one. Insured could be also foreign citizens, who have a short-term or long-term stay in the country, as well as employees of the foreign diplomatic missions.
Insurance cover
This insurance shall cover the following damages, caused to third parties by the Insurant within the insurance term as a direct and immediate result from the keeping, wearing and using of fire arm:
- Property damages – full or partial damage on movable and/or immovable properties of third parties;
- Non-property damages – death and/or bodily injuries as well as pains, suffering, discomfort, resulting from them;
- Expenses for arranging of claims regarding to the above mentioned damages, made after a written permission of the Insurer.
Territorial scope
This insurance shall cover only the damages, caused on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Sum insured
Limits of liability shall be agreed per person for one and for all insurance events within the insurance term.
Insurance premium
The insurance premium shall be calculated on the basis of to the rates of HDI Insurance Company depending on the type of the fire arm, the agreed limits, the eventual deductible and the insurance term.
Conclusion and term of the insurance
The insurance shall be concluded on the grounds of a detailed proposal, filled in by the Insurant, and against payment of the insurance premium or the first installment of it (in case installment payment has been agreed). The insurance policy shall be issued on the grounds of the proposal for the period agreed, but not shorter than one month.
When is the insurance indemnity paid
The insurance indemnity shall be paid, when after receiving a claim in writing, the grounds and the size of the damage caused by the Insurant are proven.
