The Spyker C8 Spyder, an exotic-looking supercar crafted in the Netherlands, is a mid-engine two-seat roadster that features a curvaceous body and an aluminum hardtop.
Power is provided by Audi's 400-horsepower, 4.2-liter aluminum V-8 engine, which can propel the car to 187 mph. Thanks to its low weight, the car accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, according to the company.
The C8 Spyder T adds Audi's twin turbochargers to boost horsepower to 525 and the top speed to 200 mph and drop its 0-to-60-mph acceleration time to less than 4 seconds. The cars are further equipped with fully adjustable front and rear suspensions in stainless steel and Koni F1 shock absorbers.
Spyker expects the United States to be its largest market. C8 Spyder buyers can watch the manufacturing process of the cars they order via webcam.
